End terms are going on, a non credit exam is scheduled for the evening. I am about to go to mess for lunch, in walks Devi.
Devi : is this an open book exam?
girl one: you mean to say we have a book for it!!!!

In the mess I sarcastically thank sangwan for sending the ppts for the paper.
Me: I plan to flip through them before I go for the paper
Sangwan: You know I kind of felt embarassed sending those!!!

During lunch:
Guy1: my book is still in its plastic packing
me: do u realize it is the biggest book we have
guy 2: i m not opening mine
me: why
guy 2: then it wont sell!

Back in room all six of us are sleeping. I providentially wake up at 4 45 , the exam is at 5pm.
Me: Hey! all of you! wake up its 15 min to exam!
girl one and two murmur something and go back to sleep, girl three, four and five however wake up
girl three: hey (girl one) wake up its 4 50, 10 min to exam
girl one: i ll wake up in 5 min

after 5 min
girl three: its 4 55 now! wake up!
girl one: cant i go a little late? as in after sleeping for an hour?

I check my exam room is 304- that means third floor. The lift is full of people, a girl still finds space ;) someone accidentally presses the button again and we lose about 5 seconds as lift doors open and close twice. someone remarks : though we lost 5 seconds because of you, we will not hold it against you

In the exam room everyone is walking in with those outsized books and shocked to see it has started and some folks are already writing the exam! Examiner tells us it is a closed book exam and amid laughter kept our books on the side.

half an hour later someone asks for an extra sheet and gets killing stares and a moment later the person sitting next to me turns in paper and leaves!!!
